Plant, Aggregate, HMA, PCC and Soil videos can be found on the Iowa DOT's Training Page for your use in the classroom.
EXAM HANDOUTS / PAPERWORK
As an instructor there are a few paperwork requirements. Downloads of paperwork forms can be found above in the download section.
You can access the class sign-in sheet at the link below (a shortcut to this link has been placed on all the kiosk computers). You must use the username and password listed below to open the form (see info below). Please ensure all students in your class have signed in when they come in for face-to-face classes/exams. They only need to sign-in the first day of class, they do not need to sign-in for "retake" exams.

If you are working for pay as an instructor, lab assistant, or exam proctor, please complete your pay request after you have completed your class.
If you are doing work outside of your teaching responsibilities that are approved for pay (ex: task group meetings, kick-off meetings, gathering samples, etc.) you will need to submit your DMACC timesheet. **This pay is processed differently than classroom instruction.**
DMACC will pay for mileage and hotel if you are teaching more than 50 miles away from your home location. DMACC does not pay for meals. Expenses reports are submitted through the Emburse website. You must log into your myDMACC to access Emburse.
If you have questions please contact Dawn Walker at (515) 433-5232 or dmwalker2@dmacc.edu.
If you have a hotel stay, you will need to upload your receipts on Emburse.
If you are proctoring and a student wants to challenge a question, have them complete a question challenge form. Email the competed form to dot.ttcp@iowadot.us.
If you are proctoring, please encourage students to fill out the class evaluation. Students can log into their Workday account to access these evaluations. Click on Menu, then Learning, then My Learning. They will see your course listed. Click View Course scroll down until you see TTCP Course Evaluation. Click on View External Link and it will start the Evaluation. The evaluations are important and are used to make improvements to the TTC Program and courses.
If you plan to teach and be paid by DMACC, you need to complete an application to become a DMACC Adjunct Instructor. After you've completed the application, please email Dawn Walker at dmwalker2@dmacc.edu to find out what you'll need to do next.
One requirement to become a primary instructor is to attend a one-day “Instructor Development Class”. As part of this class, you'll be asked to give a short 10-minute teaching demonstration. It’s a very low-key day, it’s just a chance to get “critiqued” by fellow instructors and get tips on what you can do to improve.
