LAB INSTRUCTION EXPECTATIONS
Lab Testing Guidelines 2024 (pdf)
DownloadA proctor has two primary jobs. The first is to assist students logging into Test.Com and finding the correct exam to take. The second is to ensure you and the students are following proper Testing protocol. Download these instructions at the links below.
· Pay is direct deposited on the 15th and the 30th as per the payroll schedule below.
· Expense checks are processed as quickly as possible and typically get paid out 2-3 weeks after processing
· Pay is $55 for instructors and proctors, $41.65/hour for lab assistants. All DMACC hiring paperwork must be completed before instructors can be paid, Hiring paperwork could take weeks/months to complete so plan ahead if you expect to be paid.
· Prep time is not paid (note that you are getting paid 8 hours per teaching day even though classes are only 6 hours per day, hopefully those extra 2 hours are offsetting some of your prep time)
· Iowa DOT Employees: If you are doing something above and beyond the expectations of teaching and task group participation please contact DMACC to determine eligibility for pay. If approved, pay is $27.80/hour.
· Non DOT Employees: Attendance at task group meetings and other work you do to assist the TTCP may be eligible for pay (gathering aggregate, reviewing web-based training, updating computer programs, etc.). If approved, pay is $27.80/hour.
If you have any questions about your pay, please contact Kelli Bennett, kabennett@dmacc.edu
