Pay Information
- Payment is direct deposited on the 15th and the 30th as per the payroll schedule found here, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mUtxHEh6LhYS43bYepporIcXc_CL-FIa/view?usp=sharing.
- Expense checks are mailed to the recipient. They are processed as quickly as possible and typically get paid out 2-3 weeks after processing.
- Pay is $55/hr for instructors, proctors, and lab assistants. All DMACC hiring paperwork must be completed before instructors can be paid. Hiring paperwork could take weeks/months to complete, so plan ahead if you expect to be paid.
- Prep time is not paid. Note that you are getting paid 8 hours per teaching day, even though classes are only 6 hours per day. Hopefully, those extra 2 hours are offsetting some of your prep time.
- Iowa DOT Employees: If you are doing something above and beyond the expectations of teaching and task group participation, please contact DMACC to determine eligibility for pay. If approved, pay is $28.80/hr.
- Non-DOT Employees: Attendance at task group meetings and other work you do to assist the TTCP may be eligible for pay (gathering aggregate, reviewing web-based training, updating computer programs, etc.). If approved, pay is $28.80/hr.
